problem with wm6.1
 

I installed windows mobile 6.1 (a no2chem variation) and when I click on the profiles tab under htc home and click on the ringtone button, instead of coming up with the ringtone menu, it comes up with phone settings (location setting, roaming, tty mode) so on and so forth, I tried to reinstall htc home and htc home customizer, and still nothing, tried 2 variations of the customizer v.8 and v1, also having a problem with quick menu, whe i click close program/task manager, it comes up with memory settings... is there any way to fix this, perhaps a registry edit? Thanks in advance!

From the list of problems that you have I would suggest that you do a hard reset and try reloading the rom. Even if you uninstall and reinstall HTC Home and HHC and get them working, you will still have the issue with your ringtones. And to me, 15 minutes for a hard reset and reflash is quicker and more likely to be effective.

It takes me about 2 hours to set up my ultimate launcher... 9 tabs including the home tab... I really don't want to have to go through that. I can still get to my ringtones through settings/personal/sounds and notifications, so it is more of an annoyance than anything...

um...try saving your UL ini file if you are just using the same programs again. overwrite the new one with saved one and it will pick it up and should be just as it was...9 tabs included.
