Thanks for the clarification on the 6.1 Graphics option. I am also happy to announce that the startup animation changed after creating a OEM in OEMizer as you suggested originally. :D I guess I thought that if dcd's OEM for the same purpose did not work, that one I created would not either...I was wrong. I appreciate your help colonel.

Hopefully, in a future release of the kitchen, there will be a new option to change the startup animation in a similar manor that you can now change the splash screens. :)

It has been discussed. Right now the trick is showing the animations. But, if you are using one that you already know, it is probably doable. Or, it might be integrated into OEMizer since it is just as simple that way.

That is the point of the kitchen, to 'tweak' what is included to meet your needs. If you choose a pre-configured ROM, you are choosing to use what the author (in this case no2chem) has provided you.

However! You can always change the startup animation after you flash the ROM by using a file manager with the ability to overwrite files (such as Resco Explorer) and copy an animated GIF file (name it WMStartup_ani.gif) into the /WINDOWS folder. Choose yes to allow the file to be overwritten and soft reboot your phone.

Where is this patches folder it is referring to? No matter what I have tried thus far, I still end up with the default Windows Vista startup animation. I can change it after I flash the phone but I want it cooked in.

Would this program work ???

Intro
Splash Screen Randomizer is a simple tool that launches in the background at startup and swaps out the Welcome Splash screen with a random splash screen from a folder that can be defined by you.

How To Use
When you install Splash Screen Randomizer It will create a folder in \My Documents\Splashes (You can change this folder after install if you want) Depending on which version you download you may have 1 splash screen or 13 in your splashes folder. The normal version only includes the splash screen that I released a while back called Merlin XP(which accounts for 200KB of the cab size). While the other has one of nuthin's splash screens and a whole bunch of black_shadow69's.

You can change the Splashes directory by launching "SplScrnRndStg" From the Programs menu. At this point you can change the settings manually by editing the .xml file in the "Program Files\SplashScreenRandomizer" Folder.
