i checked my settings and it said Rev A -disable... I lefted it alone. I live in the suburbs and the maps show i should have Rev A service out here but my connection is no faster than my wifes Treo.. I went to San Francisco and my speeds increased dramatically, probably doubled my speeds.. bottom line is i dont think you have to mess with the ##778# setting. Your signal should automatically pick up Rev A if its available

If you get evdo signal on vzw and have done the 3.35 upgrade you are getting evdo rev a. Had it confirmed by a buddy in tech support on mine. The downboad speed is somewhat faster but the big difference is the upload speed.

so why am i only getting downloads of ~300 when i check it on my phone? seems to be slow. on verizon in brooklyn, ny and almost always shows evdo
