Close out of all programs

My fiance has the touch and I have the Mogul. Prior to reseting my phone I had this little feature that allowed me to close out of all programs from my start screen...well above my start menu far right corner. In the touch I see that this option can be selected in the task mgr in settings. In the my mogul there is not a task mgr. Please advise as I would like to add this feature...I for some reason recall seeing a x-button is that it??? If so its gone can you link me where I can locate the info or download. Thanks
