Re: ##77# has alot more option then just advance
I have seen a lot of responses that say turning on the Rev A option in EPST actually causes your phone to go slower, and that they are getting faster speeds than before when it says disabled. I found it under Data Parameters though in EPST if you're still going to change it.

To the OP: Yes, you have to tap EDIT (and enter your MSL I believe) to see that screen.
And mstevens is correct (from what we've concluded), DISABLE means its working and ENABLE means it is disabled. Dumb, but true ![]()

as soon as i changed my EVDO Rev. A part to "enable" then i was able to get the fast speed. If you think about it, it says "Change Value To" and it says disable which means it's disabled. I know what your talking about and I understand it looks that way, but its not. Change the value to Enable... When it said Disable i was getting speeds of up to 400 now im getting 1000 and 900... |

If you just want to find out if your Rev. A says "disable" without actually editing it just type in ##788# then click on View Info then go to Data Parameters.

Re: ##77# has alot more option then just advance
Okay so I am confused to disable or enable, that's the question. So why would Sprint give us a ROM update with Rev A and not have it enabled? You shouldn't have to go into the EPST and enable anything I would think.

Basically, stick with what you feel is faster. or stick with the setting that gives you higher speeds. |
