Re: custom 3.35 rom for telus

I do not recommend skipping the stock Sprint ROM and going straight with the radio update... its much easier to just flash the stock Sprint ROM and then flash your new ROM. There were lots of reports of "bricking" (they had to reflash their phones from the bootloader safe mode because the phone wouldn't boot) or "NO RADIO" when people tried to just flash the radio by itself.

really.... never had that problem... when a ROM fails, just boot the loader, then try again .... I always go back to TELUS WM6 ROM if need to start over

Re: custom 3.35 rom for telus

Everything is working.. but the problem is now is that the when using GoogleMaps, my location isn't accurate. When using GPSViewer, finds only 1 sat or none. What is wrong with this? I on Telus Network in Lower Mainland. With clear skies.

This has been resolved by redoing everything from scratch

Re: custom 3.35 rom for telus

I installed the dcd telus custom one, and it removed the slide sounds...

So if I understand this correctly, this is basically a stock TELUS rom but all the sprint stuff removed?

Does it have the telus software, like the email setup?

Re: custom 3.35 rom for telus

I love this ROM, but want WM 6.1. Any chance you'll cook one up?

Also, how can we get the voice dialer back?

Thanks for taking the time to build this.

Just to be clear - you've got Olipro 2.40, along with the 3.35 Radio, and you were able to install the standard Telus WM6 ROM (the one described here), and your phone still works?
