Re: Restore from SPBackup HELP Plez!!!
Only thing you can restore with SPBackup is the PIM data. Hopefully you've created a self-extracting backup, if not you need to reinstall SPB before you can restore...
Even if you took a full backup, find the file using file explorer , run it, and do "Customize Restore". Select PIM DATA, EMAILS, and MY DOCUMENTS. DO NOT RESTORE THE SYSTEM DATA!! I can't stress this enough... Then just click through and it will restore everything for you. You'll still have to manually install all your apps, hacks and such. I'm pretty sure you can just go into options in Active Sync and rename your device, but honestly I haven't used it in months lol Hope this helps <>< |

Re: Restore from SPBackup HELP Plez!!!
was bad version of files...dnloaded fresh all good
GPS Signal weak indoors try tomorrow AM All looks good... I stupidly let the Chick at the sprint store name my PPC so the first active sync took that name...I couldnt re produce here steps here at home so the PPC took the default naming convention ---WM-machine name fortunately it was short.... I also stupidly did a full restore before catching your post but I just cleane everything from memory and started where I was after the new ROM install I should get some sleep now... :-) |
