The camera does work fine but I'm having the same problem. Even after I mapped the flash to a hard button once the camera is activated the flash application gets turned off.

You're right. I hadn't tried snapping a picture yet with the flash off. It stays on until just before the picture is taken. Weird.

My review on this, is its alot better than the stock camera... end of story! lol tried it on my Mogul and my wife's. When I showed her the differences between pics, she wanted mines. Case Closed get it and install it. like the flash really helps on these things..

Both from the vogue. Except the one above is in a cab file. Only thing I can think of is the one in this thread is an updated version of the Vogue camera while the cab from the link above is the Vogue stock camera.

after not seeing much of a diff in image quality, i decided to erase this cam off my phone, well in doing so it erased my original cam as well.. i had to go on here an find the titan cam to reload it, question is.... i moved it all to windows directory "the old cam" so if i delete the cab that i downloaded it from is it gonna delete cam off memory..??

it wont work.. you turn the flashlight on, then it goes off the instant the shutter releases......

I understand that the Touch camera will not work w/ the flash
Im having an issue with flash being disabled on the stock Titan cam
The little flash icon simply disappears when the Touch cam is installed
When the Touch cam is uninstalled the flash for the stock Titan cam is functional once again
Anyone found a workaround or have the flash fucntion on the Titan cam while having the Touch cam installed?

This is correct.
when you install the Touch Cam, yes the flash icon will NOT appear.
and when you remove the Touch cam, the flash icon comes back, on the Titan one..


this is indeed the known issue with this. actually not an issue, since the Touch has no flash to begin with, which is why it is absent when you install on the Titan.
no workaround yet.

Ive actually found a way around it
I have the Titan camera installed in main memory, in the Windows directory & mapped to the default camera button
Then i have the Touch camera installed on my memory card w/ an icon in the launcher tab of HTC Home

Nice.. snap some pics and post em up for us as comparison shots between the 2 cams.... i'd like to maybe start using the better camera, but i'm still not so convinced..

I'm actually pretty amazed at the quality of the pictures my Titan camera takes. I would very much like to see what comparisons people have.

Nickles, I read in the post that you linked that you can have both cameras. If this is the case, I'll test out the Touch camera. But unfortunately, as you said, the flash won't work on either camera.

wow.. that pic is from your titan ? impressive.. mine absolutley blows compared to that..
correct.. no flash on the touch cam.. and you can NOT map a flashlight button to it either - the flashlight will turn off, as soon as the shutter releases.

Yea I'm amazed too! I took that while riding shotgun in a car.

I think the quality on my Sprint Mogul is the worst. The 6700 was definitely better in quality! Im gonna try this and see if it improves it. But honestly, I think they put a bad camera on all Moguls. My personal opinion.
