Re: I've flashed to no2chem's ROM and now I'm stuck at the sprint loading screen

Please Help

I tried to upgrade the ROM on my mogul last night. I downloaded “Hard-SPL-240-MFG.exe.” I then ran the Application, and everything appeared fine. I then ran “Titan_radio_3.27.00.exe” and the phone rebooted on its own. Now I am stuck at the HTC Smart Mobility screen.

When I pres and hold the Power button & the Camera button & the Reset button I am able to enter then “Bootloader/multi-color screen.” I then plug the phone back into the USB port, windows (2k) acts as if it is recognizing something, but to initialize the port. The phone changes from Serial1 to USB. When I run either of the two apps mentioned earlier, they both indicate that there is no connection between the USB port and the Phone. The ROM version still shows as 2.17, however, the line directly above that shows 3.27.

Any thoughts….Besides I’m an ID10T?

I believe the Hard SPL app needs to be connected via active sync. I do not know about the radio app because that is just silly anyway. Try installing an actual rom.

Re: I've flashed to no2chem's ROM and now I'm stuck at the sprint loading screen

Ok, so after some trial an error, I moved to another computer where the USB port decided to work properly. Rom Version = DCD 2.1.0 and the Radio Version = 3.27.00. I was able to get back to the bootloader and complete the installation process. I now have Windows Mobil 6.1 and the device (Mogul) seems to function normally. It was not until about an hour ago, when it dawned on me that I had not received a single call or text message. I then went to make a phone call and I get a message stating that “Your phone has not yet been activated, to activate your phone press the End key.”

I can not flash back to the stock ROM as I am unclear as to how I lock the device again. Yes, im new to this stuff, ok perhaps even a little ignorant. But I am not by far stupid. I have a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology with a graduating GPA of 3.65. I am just new to this technology and I am learning the hard way. Yes, I read the posts, but as you know, you must sometimes experience the pain to learn from it.

Any help that anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated. I know that I am not the only person who has run into this issue. Thank you all for your time and efforts to educate the ignorant.

Re: I've flashed to no2chem's ROM and now I'm stuck at the sprint loading screen

I sill can't make any calls. I'll call Tech Support. At this point, i may as well go back to the 3.16 ROM. Had i understood that flashing back would not restore my ability to make a phone call, i would not have bothered to flash back. The only real problem was that i am unable to us the "Phone."

Again Thank You to those who provided "Solutions." I think I've got it from here.
