Sprint vs Custom Roms: for HTC Mogul

Can someone please give me input on whether I should wait for the Sprint Rom to release or use one of the custom roms?

I keep reading in the forms where some please phone brick or they can not dial out when they flash a custom rom.

However, It seems that the Sprint rom keeps getting pushed back every month.

So please give me some advice?

your choice. if you deem it as a risk worth taking, then by all means. but keep in mind problems don't usually arise if you read read read all the directions, follow them, and feel comfortable with what you're doing. there's always risk with customizing any part of the phone.

I'd say if you have the insurence and you have 50 bucks to burn', i'd say risk it.
