Slow to connect

I'm using SPCS and the 3.27 radio.. I've upgraded my PRL, and loaded in a new rom (i'm using NexVision's hybrid rom).... I'm noticing that when the phone is rebooted it takes approx. a minute to two minutes to connect to the sprint network.. Is anyone else noticing this, had this and fixed it, or is it just some weird quirk with my phone/area?

Re: Slow to connect

this has been reported by a few users.... i personally have it come right on after a reset... not totally sure what the cause of this is, but look at some of the other threads where this issue is mentioned as there have been some suggested fixes in them.

You're lucky, my last reboot took 16 minutes to connect. I'm on VZW btw.

Edit: See this thread for a potential fix. It's helped some, but not me.

Re: Slow to connect

I was also having this problem, what I did that fixed the problem was i reentered the MSID and MDN in the ##MSL# screen. Then allowed the phone to reset. from that point forward I get signal as soon as it powers on from reset. Hope this helps.

Oh yeah, forgot to come back and say that after a reload, this did help fix it for me as well.
