i WANT 3.16...
 

ok...i have seen all of the posts on how to do the upgrade...BUT I AM LOST...i am usually very good with doing computer related stuff, but this one seems to have so many stipulations that i am going nuts. I really want 3.16 so i don't want people to give up on me...

please help...

If you've read all the posts it should be very simple. If you've read all the posts and its still too difficult I would suggest having a friend help you. The original sticky is still probably the best place to look.

I would flash for you if you lived near me. Hook up to my laptop for a few minutes is all it would take.

first get your msid your msl and your esn and then start installing the rom the rom forums should be able to help if u have 2 use those.

It's much easier than it seems.

And it's like almost impossible to brick these phone, though it may take a while to get it working if you **** up real bad. But the test rom is easy to update to.

please tell me how...just tell me exactly what i need to download in order to do the update. I have all of my stuff backed up, contacts and all and i have all of the programs I need saved to my comp. PLEASE!!!! HELP!!!!
