Figured I would post this over here as well as XDA since I have been spending more time here.

ROM's bult using no2chems work.

BEWARE YOU MUST WRITE DOWN YOUR SETTINGS OR YOU WILL BE ON THE PHONE WITH YOUR CARRIER.

VZW USERS THIS FLASH WILL CAUSE YOUR PHONE TO BECOME UNVALIDATED.

If you are not a sprint customer do not allow the above flash to boot when u hit the calibration screen u must put your device into bootloader mode and flash your rom of choice.

If you are a Verizon customer doing this will require u to call Verizon and get a new akey this is easily obtained.

Got the titan from angel in today so once I get my touch ROM's done I will take a peak at this again.

Looking forward to a 5067 Release. I will be back in town for sunday and id love to leave monday with a new ROM! The Test UL one has a few bugs and glitches.

It is called Pocket Clock.

Google it, or I think it also may be in Nex's cab folder.

I have been reading a lot through this all night and I'm trying to figure out why my handset keeps saying it has been disconnected from the computer and the progress bar will not move, I keep having to remove the battery to reset the phone and I have tried it 3 times now. Any suggestions on why that might be happening? I use vista with mobility center, everything starts working right until it goes to install on my phone. It will be on the grey screen and say 0% for 2 minutes then the computer will say the handset has encountered communication errors and gives me directions on recovery. I clicked on the nex 3.35 no2 at this linkhttp://nex.ppckitchen.org/ROM/Titan_Mogul/Sprint/ and that is the one I'm trying to install on my sprint mogul

Please help this is kinda frustrating and I don't have 2 days to read through 113 pages on this thread lol

Unfortunately, I cannot offer advice on windows vista issues. However, I do recommend that you at least use of the newer roms. Check the "generic" folder... any of those will work with any carrier, you install it just like normal, and you choose your carrier when it boots up the first time. Well I downloaded the file and I REALLY appreciate the advice, but I don't know how to run a .nbh file. I tried it on my phone and i tried extracting it on my computer neither of them worked. Sorry I'm somewhat new to pocket pc's. Thanks again also for just giving me the advice.

Extract it to your PC and then follow this..

3) Now you'll need to run a Rom Update Utility, also known as the RUU.
You can use any official ROM update for your device and just replace the RUU_signed.nbh file with the .nbh file of the ROM of your choice.
If you don't have an RUU already, you can download one from ImCoKeMaN's ftp that already has the .nbh file missing so you can drop your own into the dir and run the exe.

Uh slight problem, I installed nex's 6.1 rom and now my phone is stuck on the boot screen... any tips? I'm without a phone now lol. I did unlock it and everything before hand and followed the instructions but now my phone won't boot and I don't know what to do...

Will that undo the rom update or what? cuz i did the hard reset and it said it recovered and then it loads the new rom again

when was the last time this romm was updated? there is always alot of action on this thread , but i dont think i have seen a new rom from nex is about 3 months no? maybe i am wrong can somone please point me to where they are if updated? I think these were the best roms out

Dambro, Nex switched to an xv6900 a few weeks ago so I think any updates to the xv6800 roms are going to be few and far between.

So I got a new rom installed right, and I got advice on how to install a .nbh file earlier but I really haven't figured it out yet. I tried running the RUU but it says something like file open error 240 (check your update utility) and i'm running the utility that was given to me in a link earlier in this thread. I also tried downloading a .nbh extractor and it doesn't do a darn thing for me. Idea's?

Thats because you are looking in carrier specific ROM folders.

You need to look in the Generic Folder. All ROMS from a few weeks forward are non-carrier specific. You just select your carrier when installing. The last ROM came out about 20 days ago or so. (Not including the IPHONE Rom)

It is incorporated into WKTask. Its not a separate application.

He kind of rudely blew off by telling me that mogul is the least on his mind since it is not the phone he is using

i think you are just not understanding where he is coming from... why should he make roms/devote time to a phone he doesnt own anymore? thats like me asking you for cheat codes to some game that i have on xbox 360 and u have it on ps3... if u feel so strong about it, why dont u just open up the kitchen, make urself up a rom, and move on...

first of all he has a mogul he himself had anounced that angel had mailed one to him
and yes i maid planty of roms but they all are bad they all have one thing or another incompatibilities that lock up like the keyboard barely working
or what ever

maybe if you guys donated so peoples time were worth spending oh, 20 hours on what you're going to be enjoying for the lifetime of the device they'd be willing to do it.

Honestly, my experience has been I do things that i find useful. I give them away for free because i know people will steal them otherwise. Now if i get money for it, yay that was an extra.

But if ANYONE asked me to continue to support something i no longer find personally useful, you'd better believe there has to be an incentive to do so. I donate a lot of services for free because i like to help others out and can (because of little or no support).

But something like rom building is pretty time intensive, and it's more than a little to ask someone to keep up their builds if they aren't even finding them personally useful.

A good example of this is analogx. The dude makes all kinds of software he finds useful and uses himself. But the community doesn't complain because its good stuff and its worth waiting for updates. Although the guy hasn't released software in a long time, we're not mad at him. We ask for more because he makes quality stuff. But you know what? It's ok, he's a busy dude and its very nice of him to release this stuff to the public.

So have some respect :P

It would be nice to hear from him, but i think he will be waiting till No2 releases 5070 as it will be out soon, and probably the most complete stable upgrade since 5060 which is in the current UL rom.

I was gonna say thanks since my time had freed up some now that I got my crashed servers restored but now BLOW ME whats your paypal id it will be my pleasure to refund your donation as I would rather not have it from someone like you.

Thanx for saying that however my reasons for not putting out any roms right now actually had nothing to do with that but more to do with the fact that in real life I had a very major server crash on one of my machines which affected roughly 75 of my customers and was almost a complete wash on information in the past 3 weeks I have gotten less then 10 hours sleep untill tues night. Not to mention everything in my ROMS is available via kitchen. However there will be something new coming as I have been working on some adjustments and improvements to the UL ROM.

You have unreal unreasonable expectations and I had no problem answering your questions the first 30 times u asked and now your just mad because I will not give u my phone number to call me you need to grow up I released a ROM on the forums that does not make u my best friend or make me your personal tech support I have no problem helping people who need help but I mean come on im not your pipeline.

I cant say that im waiting for 5070 but there is something else I am in the process of testing out fully before it goes up and there is still some work to be done.

To everyone sorry I have not been around much but life is taking a real shi*** couple weeks with servers and have not had much more time other then to hover in the chat and help with issues if I can. As any of u can see I havent really done anything for touch either just the one rom since I needed to get mine working. Also havent really seen anything special yet not a big fan of 19588 as I get random slowness and random lockups on bothe titan and Vogue with my test roms. So all I can say is check out the kitchen and see what u can come up with and if your run into a issue I am generally always in the chat hovering to help as are many others.
