if i could build this into my own, it would be the greatest day in Mogul history. Not to say yours isn't great, it is. In fact i'm going to give that a whirl in dogguy's kitchen real quick ;)

EDIT: it's being a bitch and won't connect via USB. I think its my laptop, not the file.

How to put your Operator Name on the device? I tried that thru Registry Hack but after few seconds it goes back to Sprint.

You need to have an application that regularly updates it if it changes. There are a few in the software section of the forum and I believe the latest one was from Cody.

Re: VetVito's Aero Windows Mobile (6.1.1)

Couple of things on my 6800 with Sprint:

* HTC Audio Manager's launcher just says "New Shortcut," might wanna rename that if you get a few min
* in Comm Manager, the Airplane Mode shares Activesync and it puts the icon/text for both there and freaks it out. I'll try a few soft resets and see if it's fixed.
* There's no icon for "Keypad QuickTasks" under settings/system.

What would it take to get the smaller wireless signal strength and battery icons? These remind me of the early WM6 on my 6700.

1. Will fix the shortcut, when I OEM'ed it I saw it but forgot to edit it. No problems.

2. You don't have to soft reset, it's a Registry issue, not problem will post the simple fix in first post.

3. It's a setting in the OEMOperaters folder, if you are a cooker just use the original folder leave it intact and build a new rom. I haven't seen a cab file for this, but I haven't searched for it either.

Arcsoft 5
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?p=1917716

I'm still working the registry to see what the problem is.

Everything is already a cab, check "Ideas and inspiration" Link.

I ran the exe flawlessly and it uploaded the total 100% but when it went to load the OS it gets stuck at the HTC splash screen with the Microsoft insignia at the top and the HTC insignia on the bottom. I did a hard and soft reset with no change, any ideas?????

Could be your phone is still locked, or your CPU is not allowing it. Read sticky at the top of the forum.

After reading and searching through numerous threads including the one prescribed to me I came to the realization that I cant load a radio or anything else on the phone unless i can get the OS running correct? I have downloaded all the required applications to get the process going but if I cant get into active sync I'm pretty much screwed, so is there any idea's to my dilema? Any and all help is once again appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

Re: VetVito's Aero Windows Mobile (6.1.1)

After installed VetVito rom for Sprint, there is no internet connection and IOTA error. ##778# will not work, but you can access EPST in windows itselft. Click on file explorer, then "windows" find "EPST" icon, then pop up to EPST edit screen. You should be able to change NAI configuration to Sprint and I believe something like this "HEX #@hcm.sprintpcs.com" or does anyone know alternative method because I forget the alternate configuration. I am thinking it starts with 129?????@sprintpcs.com????

Great job on all the work. Worked flawlessly for me. Only thing i found is that on the Vista Black Theme the wallpaper in landscape doesnt full the entire screen. There is a vertical white stipe.

No need for activesync just flash from your card, someone answered your question in another thread that you asked.

Only code not working is ##DIAG

The USB icon was moved to System in WM 6.1, so all the ROMs are like that.

Is anyone else having problems with the HTC weather downloading the forecast for their prospective cities? I still haven't gotten the IOTA to work BUT I have been able to get the 1X to run well just like my 6700 would. I downloaded the IOTA.cab file and soft reset the phone but still havent gotten a IOTA connection as of yet but that isnt my primary focus as of now.
