People are only posting info they get. Ban Sprint for issuing bullshit info.

On the 2/22 tip....fuck it. $50 says DCD's 2.2.6 is miles ahead of this impending official release. I'll wait for DCD's version...3.0...:D

this what I got back from HTC today:

We understand that it is important you receive all the information to best utilize your smart phone. HTC is currently working on a ROM update, which enables the EV-DO Rev. A and GPS capabilities that are already built into the Mogul hardware. Sprint and HTC plan to make this software ROM available in first quarter of 2008. This update does not include the WM 6.1.

Hrmm I think several people have gotten the same response from HTC, Sprint on the other hand, I don't think they know if they are coming or going or where they have been for that matter.

here's the bottom line for me... whatever day they finally release it on will be whoop-dee-doo for me... but what i'm really circling on my calendar is 5-7 days AFTER the official rom drops: this will be when all the no2chems, and dcd's pump out more refined and stable roms than the 'big boys' can even imagine... and mind you in just 5-7 days with no great staff of engineers or PR machines... it's why i love this site and the overall ppc community as a whole!

Any new rumors on Sprint HTC Release date for Official release of ROM Update? Is February 22nd still the best guess?
