Phone keeps restarting

I am running the 3.16.651.0 Rom and everything is working fine while the phone is connected to the computer via USB, as soon as I disconnect it, it restarts by itself and does so repeatedly. It start up to the today screen, stays there for 20-30 seconds and restarts again. I have been searching for about 30 minutes but cant find a solution. Any suggestions?

Mine did the same thing a couple of days ago was very odd. It acted like something was updated and needed a reboot to finish. Its running good now and I have not gone in to see if anything was updated yet.

Did you upgrade the radio or did you install the unofficial sprint rom?
Did you upgrade the SPL/bootloader?
What did you do? What steps? This will help us debug better for you.

mine was doing the exact same thing yesterday when i flashed the new 3.16 rom.
I reflashed the radio and bam!
try reflashing the radio. im pretty sure that should fix the prob.

my guess is you don't have the proper bootloader installed.
did you unlock your phone previously? if so relock or flash the new unlocker before upgrading.

Mine did the same thing today. Was talking on the phone and BAM phone reset itself and was cycling. Tried hard reset and same. Loaded the 3.16.651.0 ROM from the SD card and problem stopped. This probably was because I was screwing around in the bootloader and trying to flash different ROMs.

Thanks guys, will try to fix it today. I installed the unofficial Sptint rom first. It also has the olipro bootloader on it and since has had pretty much every different rom installed on it but still does the same thing.

I figured it out guys, thanks for the help. I had clicked on the wrong Olipro bootloader when I downloaded it and didn't have the correct one. I flashed it with the good one and it is working fine now.

Thats what I did. I was screwing around trying to load shadowmite's 3.16 rom and bootloader. Screwed it up some how and the only thing that I could get to load was the 3.16 rom from the storage card, but once this was loaded I couldn't load another bootloader or rom. It would get to 0% screen and give me a connection error. So I had to use the below unlocker after running the 3.16 update from the card.

But I was still running into the problem. So I switched to my laptop and it worked good(both XP) I think part of my problem is that my computer has USB 1.1 and was plugging my mogul into a usb 2.0 pci card. I remember having that issue with my Apache. But finally back to DCD's 2.2 WM6.1 ROM.
