I did like having smileys with the palm threaded. I really haven't had any problems with the threaded that's included in this rom. I really haven't had any problems at all to tell you the truth. I'm on my 3rd day without a reboot and my memory is at 14meg. This rom has played nice with everything I've installed. I'm lovin' it!

one quick question, is the weather off? it was 8pm here and it said sunny, i mean its cali but damn that was 3hrs late.

*for future rom you should add 1-lite calc with the htc skin instead of the stock calc

Having bit of trouble with bluetooth headset use. Handshakes fine and no problems until auto "off" times in. Then phone won't wake up and requires reset. Can setup to never sleep, just turning off backlight, to avoid this but eats up battery. WEP200 headset comms are pretty garbled with this build anyway.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, that way I mentioned is the only setup that seems to work at this point. Just wondered if anybody else using bluetooth without issues on this ROM. Pretty weird to have the phone just seem to lockup totally only when bluetooth is on.

Update: Original prob was found with phone in lock mode that timed "off" while BT connected. After revisiting all settings am unable to reproduce the prob. No garbled comms anymore either. Dunno what it was.

I haven't had any problems with my bluetooth, other than it dropping off every once in a while. I'm using a plantronics 655 and a plantronics 510 voyager. Nice a clear every time. The only thing that doesn't work seems to be the voice command. I can hear the prompt, but it will not hear my voice....no biggie for me.

Noticed the same thing about voice command. Works fine on handset, BT turns it on but no recog. Not a deal breaker to me either but nice if it worked with BT while driving.

I tried to update google maps and it showed two google apps on the program screen, so I remove the one I installed and now the other one doesn't work. I installed the updated cab to the memory. The file name for the google app in the rom is %CE19%. Maybe that is the problem.

I am new to custom roms so I need a little help.

A rep. from Sprint installed RdZLyZs custom ROM(WM6.1) on my phone and it works well, except that I cannot bluetooth my contacts from my Katana DLX to the mogul. I cannot see the com ports.

I have a few questions:
Is there a solution to my bluetooth problem?
Is there a detailed step by step instructions on how to update the ROM I now have (dizzle v1.31, 12/05/07)?
Is there a detailed instructions on how to update from the Sprint Rom, because I have another Mogul and also a friend's mogul that I want to upgrade to your rom and I do not want to check back the Sprint guy?
Finally, do you have instructions and software on how to restore back to the factory/Sprint rom?

Thanks again for the ROM. Need assistance with one thing. I've been trying to stream video using Orb and TCPMP. I was able to work around the codec issue before by copying the necessary WM5 codec files to the "windows" folder on the previous sprint rom.

After upgrading to this rom, this no longer works. Any help appreciated.

for your bluetooth problems i think it depends on the phone. i had the stock sprint rom before and tryed to send a contact from a treo and it didnt work so i dont know if thats a problem or what not. but as for bluetoothing lol files they should work.

well to update make sure you have the 3.27 radio installed then install my rom thats all its not that special.

also i think there are steps to restore back to the sprint rom such as the old ones the 2.17 based roms.

to tell you the truth the codec should work, i didnt touch the windows folder or anything for this rom i just added the apps and games...you should go ask dcd bcause my rom is based on his rom

after the upgrade, now my phone restarts itself constantly. it stays on long enough for everything to load, then boom it restarts can anyone help?

Ok, new guy question about the ROM and all. This is my first time doing this, and I don't want to kill my phone! SO, is this the correct way to do this:
1. sync the bootloader, radio and ROM over to the PPC 6800
2. Run the bootloader to unlock the phone
3. Run the radio program to install the upgraded radio
4. Run the RUU program from the 6800 to upgrade the device.
That seems way too simple. But, if simple is good, I'm all for it! Does the 6800 have to be connected to the computer to do this upgrade? I will probably have to do it at work tomorrow, and con't connect it to a computer for syncing. I can have it on the charger, though.

Sorry for all the noob questions. I just want to do it right!

Yes I did. Uncheck "This server requires SSL" and it works perfectly!

hey guys i will not be making anymore roms, thanks for all who tryed them and for who was satisfied with this rom, i just dont have the time to do this at the moment, in the future maybe i will make some more THANKS

Great work RdZLyZs, love ur rom! I have only a few issues, most likely the result of me not knowing WTF im doing!!!! :) (But hey i managed not too brick da biach!!!!)
my issues r as follows:

1. my phone moves extreemly slow when in i.exp mobile. Browser constantly freezes up or just takes longer than normal to load. I dont like this browser much, but hey im not complaining

2. is it possible to install HTC cube app, or can you recommend one.

3. phones display lags When swithing back and fourth from landscape to portrait.

4. I hope this last is not too much of a dumb question!!! (im sure you guys will let me know if so). Dont know if this has any relation to the ROM, But before i flashed, i was able to log on to shoutcast streaming radio. open the site, press tune in, the phone would then request permission to download file to playlist. Options are yes, save as, or cancel. I select save as, The file would then magically :) play in TCPMP, (there is a small slightly transparent box that is now unchecked (& it wont let me select it) that says open file after download, how do i check it?
5. I also had a problem with phone not accepting incomming calls, but would make outgoing calls. Which is cool when im in a bad mood and dont want to talk to anyone, but i think thats gonna b a problem, especially if i have to keep calling myself to see if it works.

5. I also cannot get the flash video bundle videosites to work por nada mi amigo! They all say something is missing when i attempt to play file.

6. lastly, my sound keeps going out , I have to keep hard resetting da SOB!!!! Are there any tweaks up your sleaves that can help me iron out these little kinks and quirks!

Im totaly Feeling this ROM & think its da best Thank you bro for all the time and effort you put into this.

P.S I refuse to go back to the official rom id rather use 2 dixie cups & some string!

guys you know whats funny, y everyone has their individual problems with the roms, people keep tellin me theres a problem with this and this and this but others dont have that problem with my rom lol it must be your doing and what u are installing. i rele dint do tweaks on this rom i jus added programs and games on them thats all...if any system problems u should cunsolt DCD which he is the one who made the rom lol


guys i think im going to make another rom but based on dcd 3.0.1

what do you guys think? with the same things on it as it says on the first page

oh yea as for the games i dont know if i should share them..should i? its OEM based and they are all cracked versions. i also have the original cab files but they are just the regular games where you have to register...but i have the crack for them

Ive used both the Palm Threaded SMS and the built in threaded sms on 6.1 and I have to say I have a bias towards original rom built apps because they tend to have less problems with them. The built-in threaded sms is great i was using the Palm SMS and was disappointed. Once i saw that the wm6.1 had built-in I jumped right on it and never looked back! So, RdZLyZ, you got my vote for the built-in (or, to make the EVERYBODY happy, make a rom with the palm threaded).

I'm all for a new rom based on DCD 3.0.1 I'm still using your 1.31 rom and don't want to upgrade because yours has everything I want.
