Hey RdZLyZs, I installed this ROM on my Bro's Sprint Mogul and finished customizing it. Was running perfectly but the last thing I wanted to fix was the sound on it. The volume on the speaker was really low and I stupidly replaced the Audiopara file with a Vogue one and it totally muted the phone completely.
I cant get any sound at all and i have downloaded and replaced that file with two other ones I have found by searching the web but nothings brings back the volume. MY QUESTION IS, CAN YOU PULL THE AUDIOPARA.CSV FILE OUT OF YOUR ROM OR PHONE AND GIVE ME A LINK TO IT SO I CAN REPLACE IT WITH THE ORIGINAL ONE FROM YOUR ROM? I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. IM PULLING MY HAIR OFF RIGHT HERE. PLEASE HELP. THANKS. HUGO |

My question,
I would like to change a few skins and themes to my own taste on your rom, but when I try to change the dialer or Comm Manager, nothing works right. The dialer "buttons" no longer show up and I can't reset the thing without reseting the entire rom. Any idea what to do? Also, the only problem I had with your rom besides the dialer, was that it changed my actual MDN (in other words my phone number) to my MSID. It took me forever trying to figure out why I couldn't get internet or anything else to work right. *EDIT* Been messing around with other roms and this one just seems to have quite a bit of unresponsiveness to it. I like many of the programs, but when I click on "Menu's" or "Device" the system hangs for about 10-15 seconds before bringing up the program I want. Doesn't do this for everything, just seems to certain apps. Also, if you have a password set to log into your device on startup it seems to take FOREVER, well roughly 1 minute to 2 minutes which is forever enough, to even get control of the screen to type a password in. I would really like to use this ROM, has quite a few great features, but the downsides of the slowdowns and hangs on certain apps and log on is too much a deterrent. I'll check back and see if you get it fixed. so far I've tried n02chem's 5048 build, 5049 build, dcd's 2.3.1, Hybrid's, and NexVision's ROM. All I can find that is up to date besides this rom. This rom is the only one I have problems with :( |

I got my device up and running yesterday the ROM you provided. Much thanks to you and everyone else involved. My device is actually stable again and GPS (minus the bluetooth) rocks. I haven't seen much of a difference in EVDO speeds but the threaded SMS is a nice addition.

oh ya i rebuiilt the rom bcuz pple sayin they have problems with it but i dont see it but i rebuilt it anyway

Ok this is too tempting to not retry now... hopefully it'll stay on after I take the USB out.
Does the sprint leak have the correct radio or do I have to reinstall it again? Also, if someone makes a permanent landscape mod, you should include it as an option on your roms. Would speed things up. |
