Man, just when I think I'm going to be happy with 5046, you go and fix the battery in 5048 to show in 1% increments!
Stop working so hard!!! Thanks for all your hard work, no2chem. This is an awesome rom you've put together. |

blazingwolf...
I see that no2chem posted a new "5048" which should be a nice upgrade from "5040". I'm heading out of town tonight for 1.5 weeks and was wondering if you had any time for the VERIZON .nbh? It sure would be nice to have the latest & greatest on my phone while I'm away in Orlando. It sounds like you very busy and I sure don't want to be a pain. I sure do wish I could return the favor ...Hopefully I can at some point ...you're the BEST! Thanks so much!

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
no2chem, I vote that you incorporate your modified driver to suppress the service LED in your ROMs (no surprise there). My opinion is that the phone should not flash unless there is something that needs my attention (new email, text message, etc). However, I know that some people do like it flashing so you may get some push back. However, its your ROM so do what you feel is best.

I concur with Stroths.
Service status LEDs are not needed. I do however like to know when I have a new vm, text, or email. I also like to know when wifi and blueteeth are enabled, in case I left them on by accident(gotta preserve battery). |

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
I actually like having the LED flashing for service. I can quickly glance and see that I have service when I'm in areas of poor coverage.
I think if he incorporated this, it would go against his own philosophy of this vanilla ROM. If somebody wants to kill the LED's, they can add it themselves. The whole point of this ROM is to have a plain vanilla installation, so everyone can add what THEY like. |
