I am having a problem with my bluetooth headset on the last two versions (5059, and 5060). It works great until i shut off my headset. For some reason i loose all sound on the phone from the earpiece. If i turn my headset back on it works again. i have to soft boot in order to use the phone w/o the headset again. Anyone else having this problem?

I just tested with my headset (moto s9) and I am not having this issue... Using a 5060 build from the latest kitchen updates...

just wondering will 5062 have the sliding sound cuz I download and installed the 61a and it didn't plus messed my battery life up....and I think I found a key to make battery life good, right now is the best I ever had. I flashed back to 59 and ran the config.txt and then flashed to 60 and let it run also then I did a hard reset and now my battery stayed on 93% while I was sleep for over 7 hours! so Can someone else try this too and let me know if it works...the only I disable was data connection from comm menu...

This is kind of a generic qestion but was does this do "(5060) add new bt stack (BTHCI: 3.14)" over an older version of that? I use my bt to stream music over my car stereo. Will it improve quality or performance? or is it just something that i wouldn't even notice?

basically anytime a new BT stack is added, you can be pretty confident that it will be an improvement over the previous. whether it's improvement in quality, range, etc I'm not sure... but No2chem is pretty adamant about only moving his builds forward, so if he's put it in there consider it an upgrade...

I just updated from 5059 to 61a and I'm having a few issues:
1) Bluetooth does not work. When I go to the comm. manager and try to turn it on, it never switches on. Also, when I go into Settings->Connections->Bluetooth, when I hit the Mode tab, I get a dialog saying "There is no Bluetooth hardware installed on this device."
2) Since this morning, I haven't been able to make/receive phone calls, not sure why. It seemed to work just fine yesterday (resetting does nothing). When I try to make a phone call...the speaker starts making these soft "thumping noises" and then the phone call just ends.

Any ideas?

well if you had 5059 on it then you have the updated radio already. the "no bluetooth hardware" sounds like a bad build to me. might want to try another one.

Not sure what happened with 61a but I flashed back to 5060 and everything seems fine again. If I get time, I'll flash up to 61a to see if maybe there was an issue when I went from 5059 straight to 61a.
