Hey you all seem pretty smart, perhaps you could help me. I used advanced config to change my right soft key from contacts to media player. I just figured I'd put contacts link in the start menu, but it's not an option in the menu's setting and I can't find the file to manually add it. any ideas? Did you move it somewhere No2?

I can only get weather panel to work with 5055.

I have tried everything. Can anyone explain what might be going on? I have tried it without any customizations. It freezes on the green screen after the first reboot after installation.

I am using WeatherPanel CAB dated 12/26/07 Named WP_TRIAL08_Fixed.CAB

i heard the schaps advanced config 2.0 messes up the titan in time it takes to receive calls, so i believe thats why n2c took it off. Extract and put this .cpl this file into your /Windows/ directory and reboot, this also allows the softkeys to be changed. it'll show up under Settings and then the System tab.

So I never really understood the whole basekits and the kitchens. I downloaded the 5059fix and the recomended kitchen a while back and messed around with it for like a hour . I never got it to work I spent a good amount of time reading how to do it also . Idk maybe its out of my league.

Basicaly my question is am I missing something or am I not getting the best out of my phone if I do not use basekits ?

Good question.

WeatherPanel is working fine for me on 5059. Flashing 5060 now and will post againif it doesn't work.

To be honest; the only "standard" basekits are the ones that are delivered via the kitchen (3.35 and 5054).

Any other basekit (5059, 5060, etc) are unsupported and haven't been packaged in a "final" form.

So if we want "standard", we need to wait for the official kitchen to release one. But they've only been around for a week or so...

correct. put it in the OEM directory in the rom instead.
