I found it. And I copied it into the RAR and it still said the same thing. I hope this is the problem with my memory. Because when i cook a rom based off 5059 i only have like 15mb free at boot.

explain how having only 15mb at boot is a problem?

...19209 is out, working on it - apparently has a new build of msvc and rdp though i haven't looked yet.

I also saw this. I went into the kitchen chat channel and NexVision gave me a corrected kitchen_config.txt file. This is not the project file, but the config file that resides inside the base kit RAR. If you look at the file in the 5059 base kit and then look at the file in the 5054 kitchen you will see a big difference. NexVision's file looks more like the one included in the 5054 kitchen. I don't want to post it without his permission though. I'll wait until he chimes in.

UPDATE: NexVision posted it to the Stickied Kitchen Thread!

It worked for me, and here's the link: http://nex.ppckitchen.org/MISC/kitchen_config.zip

Perhaps I can shed some light on this. While I understand that 6.1 handles memory management differently and more efficiently than previous version of Windows Mobile, 15MB isn't enough to start with for some people. While it should be enough to run average applications, some games demand almost that much just for themselves. And this is not counting how much of that 15MB might already be consumed by drivers, Today screen plugins, system extensions like Spb Mobile Shell or Pocket Plus and various caches.

It's not hard to see how a cooked ROM based on 5059 with third party system extensions might have less than 10MB available for actually running programs. With that little available, it would be impossible to run, say, IE, WMP and the camera at the same time, as you might see for mobloggers who listen to music while out and about.

While I'm sure we all appreciate the speed increases in the recent No2Chem ROMs, I'm not sure some of us wouldn't trade a little of that speed for more available memory.

Thanks N2C!!!

I also am kind of curious what has changed with these 192** updates. I have searched all over the place and could not find the release notes.

N2C - Do you have a link to where we can find what has changed with these releases of WM 6.1?
