Hi, Gag. I think it is possible that no one is responding because we all have control of our backlights after upgrading. You may want to try a hard reset (reset button while holding both soft buttons). Hope you haven't loaded a lot of programs already. Just load them again. I have done about five hard resets in the last three days for different reasons. The ROM, however, is practically flawless, so far.

Matt,
Thanks for the suggestion. It worked. I found the culprit to be HTC Home.
Anyone else experiencing a similar issue with HTC Home?

hmm, i forgot to update the rom on nueupdate, so I'll be doing that soon. - I'm away from a good connection though, so you might want to wait...

This is my first custom rom so forgive my inexperience, but if this is a hacked custom rom, why would the sprint customizations run after install?

Second question, I soft reset in order to skip the sprint customizations. Am i missing anything i need or should want by bypassing this?

Thanks

Ah! Couldn't help you, there. I use SPBPP. Daughter uses the HTC monster. Glad you figured it out.

It isn't sprint's customizations. It is no2chem's customizations.

I see that no2chem posted a new "5048" which should be a nice upgrade from "5040". I'm heading out of town tonight for 1.5 weeks and was wondering if you had any time for the VERIZON .nbh? It sure would be nice to have the latest & greatest on my phone while I'm away in Orlando.

It sounds like you very busy and I sure don't want to be a pain.

I sure do wish I could return the favor ...Hopefully I can at some point ...you're the BEST!

Thanks so much!

Sorry, I have only just now been able to get on the site today. I will try to have something up tonight but I doubt it will be in time for your leaving.

Just wondering how the OTA update works when then bootloader has to be unlocked at the same time....I'm on build 5047 and it downloaded to my sd card, tried to reset, and just started up with same rom it had before the download....I'm sure I'm missing something....
