Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
its so hard to brick your mogul...what you did was use the old bootloader...you need olipro 2.40. this is the new bootloader thats compatible with the 3.27 radio..To fix..press and hold power button + camera button at the same time insert stylus into soft reset hole..this will boot your phone in boot loader mode...Either from here install correct bootloader.or relock and flash stock rom...The boot loader you need is in post 1. but server is acting up so you may have to google for it...you will be straight though bro...We all have been there lol.just remember 2.40 bootloader is what you seek.

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
Been using a few of the new 6.1 ROMs, including the latest No2Chem. And am hating the "threaded" text messaging thing. Is there any way to have text messages appear normally instead of the "threaded" stuff? It really sucks (just an opinion), in how I have been using text messaging. The "threaded" style just don't work for me. it's slower than normal text messages, and makes reading them a pain (for me).
Any recommendations appreciated. |

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
Any chance of getting 5047 in VERIZON form? I know that blazingwolf did a .nbh file up to 5040. I have dcd_tital_2.2.6_vzw running on my VERIZON phone right now and would love to get an update that will let me get through a file download on IE (always gets stuck part way through the download ...IE downloads work great on WIFI)

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
I had the same problem. It has to do with the radio version, I think. I flashed back to the Sprint rom and using the flashing for dummies guide, I went ahead and flashed the "unofficial 3.16" rom. After I had flashed that rom, I went ahead and flashed No2Chem's rom and it's been running great. I hope this helps. I know the bad feeling in the pit of your stomach when you think you've killed your new phone.

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
hello all,
Forums have been down, so I haven't made any updates lately since I haven't been able to get feedback on the last release. My questions for you are: Is UC Working? Are there any reg edits you would like added to the ROM? Are there any major issues with the ROM as of current?

No2Chem... Thanks for the hard work you have put into this. I would like to see you keep up with the basekits. I understand that there people out there who don't know how to use them and it has been an issue but, for the people that do know how to use then please keep it up to date. I'd like to try UC but, i am afraid that some of regedits for my customizations (sp?) will not be able to work. Maybe wrong and I need to do more research and test it out. Thanks again for you work!

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread
no2Chem... I have dcd_tital_2.2.6_vzw running on my VERIZON phone right now (I think it's based on YOUR rom back around 5038 or 40 ish. I would love to get an update that will let me get through a file download on IE (always gets stuck part way through the download ...IE downloads work great on WIFI) and the IR is all messed up. The xv6800 seems to be a little sluggish and every once in a while gets stuck vibrating endlessly (ie from a call or reminder) Also, memory (program gets real low ...sometimes less than 1.55 MB but Storage Memory is at 103.89MB) don't know if that's a problem but things seem to run REAL slow at this point ...all programs except for ActivSync are closed.
my direct email is johnirwin@IrwinMarine.com ...I'm having a heck of a time getting into this FORUM so a direct email would be fantastic! Thanks for all the great work... |
