VZW 3.16 custom rom
Everything is working fine in my first custom rom based off of the 3.16 rom from sprint. Big thanks to dcd, llama, and dogguy for their excellent work!
ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/angel12 and download the verizon 3.16RUU_signed.nbh YOU MUST HAVE THE NEW UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER AND THE NEW RADIO FOR THIS ROM TO BOOT!!! DO NOT LET CUSTOMIZATIONS RUN! DO NOT LET CUSTOMIZATIONS RUN! DO NOT LET CUSTOMIZATIONS RUN! do a soft reset as soon as "customizing your device" message comes up. I forgot to change that setting, but im updating the rom right now so i will load it up later tonight. and download the verizon 3.16RUU_signed.nbh Office Mobile 6.1 Windows Live Live Search 2.5.2908.31943 Additional Themes Adobe Flash Lite HTC Touch Calc Skin GS Finder (new file explorer) Putty Remote Desktop WM WIFIRouter .91 (Chainfire) Bluetooth File explorer Adobe Reader Java Arcsoft MMS 3 for vzw 10 Button CommManager WinRar Ilium Screen Capture Allmobile Mines Digdug Jezzball Kevtris 2.0 Ms Pacman Pocket Sand HTC Album Core Player (unregged) HTC Streaming Media Player HTC Audio Manager Music ID Google Maps PimBackup HTC WMP Skin Space Reclaimer Total Commander TRE Regedit HTC Home 2.1 FTouchFlo NullKeyboard SIPChange Touchpal HTC Large Start Menu Vistahide battery gauge WiFiFoFum WkTASK BL OSX Graphite Keyboard skin. Reg tweaks: Battery Performance B2A2DP Mark all as read I used llama's sprint rom with dogguys tools to make the kitchen. removed the sprint customizations and then added vzw ones. EDIT: to get GPS working you have to go to phone>menu>options>services>location setting- get settings> and click location on. Then go to your map of choice and enable GPS. it might take a minute to find satalites, but it works! Also, if you know you live in a Rev. A area, please PM me your dl/up and latency. Thanks!

Great work. I couuldnt get DCDs beta rom to connect to *228, but phone calls worked normally. Here's to hoping it works with yours!

Being a noob and having had a very bad experience that required a replacement phone recently, can you please post a direct link to the new bootloader and new radio rom that you referenced in the first post?
I looked through all 60 plus pages of the original post and several others and I just don't want to use the wrong files and get stuck locked back to Sprint towers again. Thanks. Todd
