Exclamation I think simultaneous data and voice capability is working...

I was tethering my laptop yesterday and TWICE i was able to receive incoming calls while i was connected thru internet sharing. i was downloading the latest ep of LOST when the call came thru, and i was expecting it to loose the connection to my d/l and make me start all the way over... but it never did. i was able to accept my call which only lasted maybe 1-2 mins but it also continued to d/l and i was still able to browse at the same time. i almost didnt even realize what was happening until halfway thru the conversation and then i was like OMG how am i talking, d/ling and browsing all at once?!

when i get home i'll be trying again, but i just havent seen anyone else report this yet. i know there were many questions as to if this were possible, but never any answers. Well son, i got my answer. I hope this will work for others, it surely cant just be me.

I had the same problem and I unlocked the entended rom and loaded the IOTA program there. It worked automatically the next time i tried to connect to the internet.

Re: Doing our part, compiling 3.16 standard Bug List

Thank you all for working on this ROM. It's very promising, if we just get over some bugs, this machine will rock!
The only problem I am having right now is accessing especif web sites, can anybody try going to www.opera.com/mini and report if they can do it or not? I can go from my pc, but not from my pocket pc while before I had no problem.
A little bit of my story with this:
1. After 2x10^5 times I tried installing the ROM I made it. Thanks to all your posts.
2. GPS works great, a little slow with LIVE but with Google works perfectly (so far) outside my house.
3. If I am using Google Map and the phone goes into sleep mode, it might hung up, but not always.
4. Before I used to have a super fast internet connection, now it's very intermitent. Before it used to be "smoothier', I can see it when downloading a file, it's like if it were sending packages of data, like the old GPRS connection. I experienced like many of you, the inability to download opera and MSN Live, it will hung during the download about less than 1/4. The weird thing is that it would download for example, Opera Desktop version (6 Mb) with no problem into my microSD card, but it would not do it with Opera Mobile (2.4 Mb). When I connect my laptop with my phone as a modem, the same thing. It would get stuck after downloading 630bytes. After starting the iota like 5 time, I was able to dowload the whole file from y PPC, but now, it won't go to pages like opera mini. Is this a proxi problem of some sort? It says "server did not respond", in both, PIE and Opera Mobile, but no problem in my laptop.
Overall, I am very pleased with it and definitely I will stick with this upgrade.
Thanks in advance for all your help.

Update: I just realized the last post before mine was on 2/11, did anybody got all the problem solved?
