My two problems:
Internet loses connection after about 10-20 mintues of no activity...but has also closed after being on and then about 5 mintues later closes

After soft rest takes about 1min to get EVDO signal

Other problems I am not encountering:
I have had no problems downloading a cab from a site and installing it
Websites all load fine...at least ones I go to reg.

The good:
DL speeds are great with Rev A 1400k down and 400-500 up
GPS works with Google maps...haven't tried any others but I can get a signal

I really need a fix to the conneciton being dropped ! ! !

That's a good thing! It won't call the last caller from your pocket by itself.

I think it all depends on if you are coming from a custom rom or HTC rom, the only issue i have experienced so far is the gps takes some time to kick in but i works pretty well......

Of the subject does anybody have cab for : mms, streaming media, weather and news

The only issue I really have is the internet will periodically go out, either the page wont finish loading (hangs). Or a program cannot form an internet connection at times (This varies at times). When everything works it's great. I like the memory management, first time i've seen more free space then used. I've had it crash a couple of times using this GPS program Route 66, which also cannot turn on the GPS at times like Google Maps or MS Live Search can.
Overall besides the main issue above, which others have as well, i'm really digging this ROM update. I used the GPS today to take a little road trip with my girl and it worked fine. MS Live Search has the ability to reprogram the directions which actually works. I purposely ignored it to see what would happen and it knew I wasn't following its direction and set a new course.

Not really a bug. I have a mio pocket PC P350 with a full Sirf III GPS chipset, and it usually takes 5-10 minutes to get a lock if i try driving without letting it get a lock. Takes less then a minute if i just sit in my driveway.

Being that this is not a full blown GPS chipset like the Sirf III, the sensitivity probably is nowhere near as good, therefore you may never get a lock while moving.

Loss of EVDO

Not sure if this has been posted yet. But once I was using google maps and I lost my Data connection. EVDO was getting a signal and was "connected" but I was unable to actually make use of it. (Browsing or using various apps). A regular reset doesn't cut it, but when I took my battery out everything was back to normal.

I haven't had an inssue with the internet since I downgraded back to the 2.17 release. Downloaded a 5MB file today no problem, when last night I oculdn't even get a 300kb .cab file to come through on the new ROM.

Yeah, I never had this periodic Internet drop-out problem until I installed the new ROM. Also noticing that my rate of dropped calls has increased ten fold.
