I had a hard time installing this to my phone and it seams like some other cats have to so this is what I did.Not saying this is right just saying I did it and my phone seams to be fine.Yes GPS works Google maps finds me in the woods in Maine. So I tried to run the RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_3_1_.16.651.0_435009_RS3_27_0 0_SPCS_NV124
the way it was downloaded and kept getting errors so i unzipped the file and found the file Named "3.16.651.0.nbh" Removed it to my desktop and renamed it "RUU_signed.nbh". If you have the ruu update utility you could just drop the ruu_signed.nbh into it and run. I couldn't find my ruu update utility so I had a stock sprint rom. I extracted it (RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_2.17.651.0_RS_TITAN_SPCS_1.4 7.01_Ship) to a folder on my desktop and just replaced the stock sprint RUU_signed.nbh with the one I renamed from 3.16.651.0.nbh. Once I did this I had no errors or hangups on 11%.
lsme, did you run both .nbh files present in the extracted exe through the other updater, or just the 3.16.651.0? I'm seeing a second .nbh file there: "Special_4350_SPC.nbh"

I am having some reception problems. It takes my phone forever to find a signal and then it goes to the antenna and the circle with the line through it. When I tap it it states that there is no reception. OBTW has anyone else noticed that the Phone as modem option is no longer in the connections tab?

Mine's been saying "18KB. Seeking GPS satellites (0)..." for about five minutes now. Was that normal for everyone else who got it to work?

LOL!
I can see it now: most of the afternoon people have been updating their phones, but only now do we all realize: "oh crud... the phone doesn't work." Just goes to show you, to a geek, the Mogul is a PPC first and a phone second...

Best of luck. I'm still watching and waiting to update mine (Yeah, I'm chicken), so keep the comments coming!

I used my trusty iBook to flash this, used VirtualPC and crashed at 11% but then I followed the steps for recovery and finished flashing... now I'm reinstalling all my apps and tranfering all my PIM data... sweet.

^ Same here, but I'm not a Sprint Customer. Looks like it changes PRL also.

To Note, I emptied the Extended rom, and it still changed the PRL. I believe its in the OS. Not a hassle to change

I am able to make and receive calls, texts as well as the GPS working. I wll comeent also that there still is a memory leak. I have not yet deleted the 2 files well known in the startup folder. And I was also using this X button 2.0 or tskmanager for a while now on my old ROM, and I notice that the comm manager does not show up in it. I have to manually go to settings - memory and close it there. I also notcied as was mentioned earlier about the PRL going back to 60610...
