Wow, it seems that I was the only one who had an unsucessful install :( Phone can't call out and all my vision user and password were erased so I can't do crap.

I hope that downgrading back helps me. Stayed on the phone with tech for over an hour and nothing could be done.

I'm actually quite sad as I've waited and wanted this update more than anything.

Ok this is very basic for me, I only downloaded the file in teh first post and i have vista ultimate. What else do i need with my stock un touched rom to gte GPS to work? thanks:mrgreen:

Weird.. I did extract i and then click the exe and all I get is still the dos window for a sec and "poof" dissapears. I restarted the PC and phone and still getting this issue. Now I will just download from another link.

Then run the Utility after you have completed these steps. If it doesnt work, restart your computer.
Do this if you are hanging during the installation if you have VISTA.

Am I The Only one who Isn't a Retard & Can't install a Rom ? All Good For me, Used The Relocker method & all Good so Far. All Works well, What is it Prob FOOLS?

I am able to install the rom just fine. and when the phone rebooted back up, i just do not have any service. i was able to enter my MSL number, and both of my mdn, and msid number were both intact, although the first time when I looked at it before loading the rom, I notice they were different numbers. I then have it changed to my number for both mdn and msid. but i am still not on sprint network, and now it appears that I am roaming. does anybody have any idea why this may be happening? thanks for the help in advance.

sorry for yelling buy I hope that people see it. The first file is actually a little smaller and will not install. The second linke downloads but you will have to rename to .exe insteat of .ex(this is already mentioned).

I fixed the problem that I had by disabling roam. It then connected to the proper network and started to work. I will now reinstall g maps and see. :D

Your a lucky retard today. The installer is crap. You will have an issue one day here on geeks and guess what. Your going to be the retard on fire.

I didn't read through the whole thread but I just setup IMAP for gmail and so far all of my HTML email is working...

I think you still need to extract it.

Here's how it works.

You download the zip file.

You extract the exe from the zip file.

THEN you right-click on that exe and (provided you have winrar installed) it should give you the option to extract.

The resulting file is the one that you run.
