Nothing against the new people here...but could someone with more than 10 posts please say if they have this working. seems like a lot of the people saying this is real GPS have 10 posts total. And anyone on verizon try this?

I have more than 10 posts and it works for me. Srry thoe Im sprint. Rev-a I cant say. I'm in Bum f*$k Maine and I'm sure Rev-a is not avaliable here yet so haven't tested it.

Could someone tell me how to get my Mogul to force my Mogul into the Bootloader. I've forgotten and I want to try the second method of copy the nbh file to complete/ or start the upgrade

I have only 7 posts including this one =D> but id like to say, the rom is working just fine for me. not a hiccup with downloading it. gps has been working with google maps, ms live search, and the sprint navigation free trial, now in the programs. As for rev A, has anyone noticed a difference? My mogul internet seemed fast before this rom, so its kinda hard for me to tell. oh yeah, one last thing. Has anyone else noticed the java app doesnt look the same anymore? opera mini will not work for me any longer. I kinda liked that browser. :(

Still having trouble with GPS. Tried to set it in the External GPS settings, but on the Hardware tap the hardware port keeps defaulting to (None) no matter what I set it to. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

It is real GPS. How do I know? Well number one it tracked my every move on my way home, and also Google maps tells you how many satelittes that its communicating with. Second, it think it may be operating in aGPS mode. I made sure my data connection was open when using this so I could see how often it pinged the connection. Most of the time the arrows were greyed out and maybe every 1 minute lit up to use connection, and aGPS is great if not better because it is using actual satelitte data and also tower data to give u an accurate reading where u are second to second. I also noticed that when GPS is being used, that the phone gets very warm, this could also be attributed to it using GPS, tower data, and also constantly refreshing the screen, thus drawing more power. SO yes guys, we do have GPS in our moguls! Works fine with G-maps, live search, and the included telenav trial.

Evdo Rev.A is definately active in my area, my d/l speeds have been about 200k higher, and my upload speeds have jumped from around 100k on average to about 400k.

I have noticed that my signal quality is the lower in some areas. For instannce, at home I usually get 4-5 bars of signal. My signal meter has been jumping all around.

Overall, I can say im pleased with what this unofficial update brought. We now have working GPS and *somewhat* flaky Rev.A. I wasnt expecting WM6.1. That would have been too much like right..lol.

Thanks to the op for this thread! I dutifully read all 31 pages and I I've got a notepad page full of notes from your posts that I think will help me along the way. I think I'm ready to give it a go.

Just leave "Program" on Com 4. You cant change the other settings. It will always go back to the defaults. I was told that you have to wait 15mins or so for it to connect on the first try, and the phone has to be outside. I havent been able to get Live Search or TomTom to work. But I only stayed outside for 5mins or so. I just left my phone in the car and see what happens.

So has anyone found out anything for the USB and activesync? I've fixed the MSID & provisioning problems, but no activesync (USB) is driving me crazy...
