I hope this question doesn't make me look terribly stupid. But, does the google maps come loaded in with the new rom? And if not how would I go about locating and acquiring the proper tom tom software? I am very new to windows based phones, and still green and smartphones in general. I have updated to the most recent ROM that was available on HTC and a few other mods but not much.

I have been reading a great deal and trying to learn by searching and such. But any advise with this would be very much appreciated.

I have a bit of a problem. I removed my storage card from the phone because i was scared my data on the card would be wiped when i updated my rom to the test rom. I reinserted my storage card after the rom update was complete and after a soft reset, the mogul can not find the storage card and is telling me there is none installed. Does anyone know how to fix this?

im not real sure what im doing wrong but when i try to flash this ROM over it wont go past 11%.. At 11% my phone seems to restart or something.. The screen goes blank and it comes back the the screen with the colors and i get a error [290] Invalid Command.. I go through the recovry set up and and start over and same thing happens... any ideas? im a lil new to this so i followed the directions on this thread aswell as the flashing ROM thread.. any help would be appricated thank you :)

I have the same problem as you. I tried 3.16 ten times today (yes, 10). All of the flashes stopped at 11% and left the phone in the rainbow/load screen with error 290. I finally flashed the stock 2.17 ROM to get the phone to work again.

I would love to start playing with the new ROM this weekend. Unfortunately, I may have to wait for the official release.

Perhaps you guys should make sure your phone has the correct bootloader on it, and also, maybe try flasing one of the custom GPS ROMs? Such as DCD's or No2chem's...

This ROM and all modded ROMs based on this one are working great for me, I've even created my own custom ROM and it works great. I have two Mogul's to play with so, I can test some things to see if I can reproduce your problems if you want. Just send me a PM and I'll see what I can do.
