here you go, this should help
http://rapidshare.com/files/85380948..._2.13_CDMA.rar |
I have been using the 2.13 radio on my Alltel 6800... replacing the 1.40 radio I was currently using. I have not experienced any substanial changes in reception and quality to date. However the final test will come when I travel to Charleston and I normally get roaming on EV (Alltel booboo).
I have had constant EV service and no 1X. HOWEVER... I CAN make a phone call AND browse online at the SAME time whereas I could NOT before. This definitely makes the 2.13 worth flashing... |

steps is right...
Apparently I tried some more surfing on my browser until I hit the "Cannot connect...end call first..." warning. It seems my PIE cache allowed me to browse some pages before it really needed to connect in which it denied me... Sorry everyone. I thought we really had something here. |

The links to the 1.40 & 1.47 radio's I have found on here and xda are .exe files and simple to install. This radio is a .nbh file, how would I install it?

Copy the .nbh file into the RUU directory and make sure that there is one and only one .nbh file in the directory with the ROMUpdateUtility, this is typically the RUU directory when you install or unpack the Kitchen. DCD keeps his thread at XDA-Developers updated with versions of his Kitchen. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353280 Make sure you are comfortable with the concepts of using the update utility and heed the warnings. I have loaded numerous custom ROMs, however, I have never used the RUU. This will be my first time. I copied the .nbh file into the folder with the RUU and ran it. However, it seemd like it wanted to update my ROM as well, and I soley want to update my radio. http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/4221/30084112lj5.jpg ----- http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/5638/60833461os3.jpg Do I just proceed with the update and will it only update my radio? Or, am I doing something totally wrong. |
If you've updated ROMS, then you've used the RUU.
You are doing it right. Just let it update. NOTE: IT WILL PERFORM A HARD RESET ON YOUR DEVICE! WIPING ALL THE DATA AND SETTINGS ON THE PHONE. |

Hello, I installed this new radio last week, my EVDO speed is now faster: before 300kbps, now 700 kbs, my Slingbox player runs better now :)
The only thing that is not working is the bluetooth audio, I have a sony HBH-DS9700, before the radio I can use it for hear stereo music over bluetooth, but now is not working, but I still can make calls with my headset. some one knows a work arround? regards |

Yeah I guess it was, I just read the sticky and I unlocked it using the HARD-spl, It went through the process fine, and then I just did the radio upgrade, and the phone came back. So everything works fine now, except for some issues like no battery status and battery overheating. Is there any downsides to this radio upgrade and is it possible to go back to the orginal files exactly as when I bought the phone even the rom upgrade. Also is this the same way I would install custom roms? Which custom rom is the best right now?
