What if you put it in boot loader?

Alright, I'm liking this rom, however, how can I backup my text messages from it, and restore my old text messages to it? It's using some freaking weird text message app that doesn't want to accept my ppcpimbackup of my text messages...

Also, is it possible to update S2U2?

This rom looks pretty slick, but the text message problem is the main issue keeping me from running it. I'm flashing back to 2.17 stock for tonight, as I need my phone for tomorrow. I'll be able to mess around more tomorrow night, so I'll flash back to this and try to get text messages imported somehow. Hopefully someone can help.

Apparantly I can flash back to stock, restore my stuff, install threaded SMS, back up it's file, flash JD, copy it in, and have my SMS back. I'm not sure I even really like the app anyway. Is there any way to make a rom with a choice to have threaded SMS or not? I was hoping it would be an easy recook for you to make a new rom without threaded SMS.

How do I remove threaded sms from this rom? I like everthing but that!

Thanks, that did it...but I had to do a hard reset first.

You shouldn't have to hard reset to put it in bootloader, just hold power and camera and hit reset.

You can't. I'm actually going to cook my own rom with most of these features. I also found that the list on the first page isn't entirely accurate, theres a bunch of stuff included that's not on the list.

I'm getting the 3-4 second delay in answering the phone with this ROM too. It is the only negative I have with it, and it is driving me crazy. Has anyone figured out how to correct it? I understand that some people think that it is related to Advanced Configuration, but since this program is in ROM, I can't get rid of it. Anyone?

Yeah I'm having the same problem. I backed up all my texts, but I can't get it to show up in the threaded SMS app. I'd prefer to use the old one but I can't find it anywhere in Windows.

With threaded SMS the old one disappears. The only way to get oyur old texts back, as far as I know, is to reflash back to stock, import your texts, install threaded sms, copy the sms file from \Windows, then put that in on this rom. I vote for a recooked version without threaded SMS.

Also, anyone know what task manager this uses up at top? I know quickmenu is for the start menu, but I'm talking about the part that's like wkTask. The one he had seemed better than wkTask.

Is there a way to restore the default sms program? I need it back!! Otherwise this rom is perfect. It's faster than colonels sry colonel =( lol

I cooked up a rom but wasn't as nice as this, a lot of the stuff he put in it isn't on the list. I'm going to tweak my rom some more, but I probably won't post it for a while.
