Info I got from XDA Forums cause I had the same problem.

If you are rooted, tell it to install (it will not work and give you an error), pull the battery, restart and the message should not come back ... worked for me :)

Safer method is to simply open up TitaniumBackup, find the SystemUpdates.apk, click on it and then click on "Freeze" which will disable system update notifications completely.

Did the freeze work for you?
The XDA thread that krwshl refers to says it doesn't kill the notifications for this specific update. And that the install/batt-pull/reboot is only way to go.
I haven't had a chance to try it yet. The notifications seem to have stopped all by themselves, lol. Haven't had one for three days.
I'm still waiting to see what the devs come up with for EL30. No one seems to have jumped on it like they did with EI22.

ok, so i downloaded the EL30 update, but i can not seem to install it. i have cwm and ACS. it keeps aborting the installation. Anyone able to tell me why? Aside from those two programs, I also installed the impaled keyboard fix. Any insight as to what am i doing wrong or what i need to do????
