Still on DI18

finally got the go ahead from the wife to play with her phone. Was able to root her Epic a few months ago. I am now looking to set her up with a custom ROM. I come from the HTC phones...and have just started to learn Sammy's phones. I have Odin...but not sure where to go from here. As noted in the title that my wife's phone is still on DI18...can someone please point me in the right direction?
