There is still a memory leak issue, though much improved over eh06, and yes, gps is a major issue still. It worked just fine on ec05, but I haven't been able to hold a lock more than 15 min on gb. I've even tried clearing my gps stats and nothing works to get a good lock. If I need gps, I have to nandroid my setup and restore my srf nandroid.
