Found a tip that shows how to get into its router setup, didn't really help. A phone support guy from Sprint told me that the dipole antenna radiates best from out of each side so I turned the Airave (Airvana) 90 degrees.
i never really go by how many bars but what modem are your on?

Re: Sprint towers

I've noticed that same thing a time or 2 with the airave, but overall it's way better than before. For me it's been with the EC05 and EE03 modems.

Off topic, but have you tried marcusant's EE03 rom yet Darren? Thinking of trying that one first since it seems to have the most development support. Plus everything else he's trying to toss out to the community.

Re: Sprint towers

I'm still on froyo, and I've been running srf as of late. It's super fast, but I'm not so sure on the battery life. Then again I'm not sure it's much different from midNIGHT 5.2.

GB's not my flavor, but I've been getting request to start porting themes over so I'll need to run it for a short time to do the ports.

End of thread hijacking.

I really haven't noticed much difference in the 2 modems in my daily use other than maybe some faster 3G speeds on EE03. I can't compare 4G since I'm rarely in range of a tower.

My son & I run MIDnight ROM v5.2 (BYOR) with EC05 modem. My two daughters have bone stock Epics. I think that is EC05 too.
