Without going back and reading the posts between you and @gTen, if you are rooted, you could flash a different font to fix it, or flash the AOSP lockscreen (which I like better). I can make a font up for you tonight when I get home, but I need to know which version of clockworks recovery you have.

Both Clockworkmod 2 and 3 should take Edify scripts..Amend is clockworkmod 2 only and was kept for legacy support...so Edify scripts "should" be universal across both clockworks..

I'm at work so I can't check, but isn't Edify only for 2.5.1.2 and up?

Either way, I can make a fix up tonight for anyone who want's it. Note that you will have to be rooted and have clockworks recovery installed.

Also, @gTen.. Can I ask a favor? Can you merge these posts about this with the thread in the general section? I think it will help keep it cleaner if it's only in one place.

Thanks

Edit: I search flashed and played, tried some xml changes that I think I could make work, but it might mess up your theme's or worse case boot loop your phone.

Here is a font that will show the date correctly on the lock screen that I put into an edify zip.

I would assume June 1 this problem will solve itself.

It's the file just called font
Also attached the stock font.
Attached Files
File Type: zip Font.zip (221.2 KB, 8 views) Click for barcode!
File Type: zip Stock Font.zip (656.1 KB, 6 views) Click for barcode!

From what I heard, you are right about it probably being resolved once June comes around.

I appreciate the fonts. Did you try it on your Epic?

It's actually the one I use in my BNN theme. So yeah, it works on my Epic.

I just took it out of my theme and put it in another font zip I had made before. Pretty simple stuff.

If you want the AOSP lockscreen I would get the Bonsai EC05 version of it.

Well that did it! Not a bad font at all! One small problem though. Cuts off the clock a little on the top right in the status bar. Lol Can't win 'em all.

Gonna check out that lock screen now. Gotta find the zip to put the TW version back first though.
