Well the i9000 already had official Gingerbread in march kinda...I hear people took their phones in for warranty and got it pre-installed on their phones by samsung directly..so there is no doubt it will be there and not uprising to see them first since they had Gingerbread the longest...

that said it boils down to Sprint...and how lazy they are going to be and/or how much bloat-ware they are going to load...like say SprintID and etc...

Yes, Sprint is working on Gingerbread. This is info on test release ED12. Whether this is the final test release or if it will make it in April is unknown. Usually releases are at least two weeks after the date on the code, (ED12 =April 12). If no more versions appear, then maybe April.
