How to get read/write access?

i m trying to find out how to gain read/write access to files on my epic. I need this to try a fix that I found for the accelerometer problem I'm having. I'm rooted and have superuser access as well. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Root Explorer can do it simply..or manually via ADB/Android Terminal..which partition do you need to remount, system?

I'm gonna download root explorer and give a try. I'm not sure about the partition. the file is on the phone, not the sdcard.

system/bin/sensorcalibutil_yamaha

basically the fix for my issue that I read on xda states to delete this file, go to cwm, wipe cache, then restart. I may have it wrong as I'm typing from memory. I'll go over again before trying.

thanks for the root explorer suggestion, looks like it will do the trick.
