i need your opinions!

dont you guys hate ambiguous thread titles? mee too, sorry.
any way, its been dead around here. i mean really really dead. whats going on? so im guessing we have all branched out and moved on to other sites with more android support? besides xda, i dont go to any other android as a hobby type of sites. i tried sdx too, and its pretty dead in the epic area also.
so heres the question and where i need your help. where are you guys going to get new info and good development? i would love to bring more stuff to the site myself, even if it was just copy and pasted like most of the other stuff around this sub forum. action is action, ya know?
so where are you guys spending your online time?

i like a good off topic section too!

Most of us are still here. Obviously we goto xda for some info since there is more there. I just like the community here better. Most people here are respectfull of eachother. I don't get that feeling on xda.

i havent been here that much longer than you, you should remember the days of htc winmo where you could literally hit f5 every 30 seconds and have a whole page of new topics. seemed like dozens of new topics and thousands of posts per day. its deffinitly not the same.
i agree the community feeling is better here and thats why i have 5 thousand posts here (IF YOU COUNT OFF TOPIC) and 300 at xda. all my friends were here. htere just isnt the comraderie.

um..Dr 8820 is still here...or is that someone else? Atecha I haven't seen in a month since the "meh" thread..whatever happened?

az was missing for a month before the "meh!" thread. thats all hes posted in 2 months. dr 8820 is on what seems to be a permanent vacation from caring.

um..he definitely posts a lot in the wp7..but offtopic has lowered down ever since we got rid of Exil3d permanently...

That and he is right now on GSM HD7..where we are more of a CDMA site..but he is definitely active..at least for the time being...

I think overall though Android development seems to be a lot different then winmo...I mean as is, the phones just work out of box..everything else is gravy..other then unlocking features or more battery life things are just not the same...I also remember the days where F5 refresh and a lot of posts..but before they were questions or problems..right now most Android threads 75% is idle chatter :/

i still love it here and come here on a daily basis. im not going anywhere anytime soon. i was just wondering where other people were spending time. i googled a bit and am reading a little bit here and there on some other android forums to get me through. i hope this site starts popping a little bit more when some cdma wp7 sets drop... maybe ill see 8820 more often.

your right. i see more and more posts from old regulars like this from 8 minutes ago in vip. ill leave it nameless since vip is private, but i guess that is the reason for some of the recent lack of posts.

i gotta think once these sprint boneheads get their releases together and we dont have to wait for a good updated os then the geniuses in here will take over and itll be touchpro forum all over again
