Angry Google Talk application

Question, I have a Sprint Epic 4G phone with the new 2.2 operation system and I'm looking for a good google talk application. On the android market, there seems to be a lot of non official generic apps. Does anyone know if there is an official app or does any of the generic one's work.

Re: Best Google Talk Application

a google talk app is actually already installed on the phone by default. if you look at your apps there should be an icon with a chat bubble and its just called "Talk". The only drawback is that you will only be able chat with those on your google account that you first used to activate your phone with.

Google Talk app does exist I think..but it uses open source XMPP protocol..so any 3rd party will work fine..

Moved

Edit: Merged

Re: Google Talk application

obamaftw08,

I have froyo and there isn't a chat application on here. I'm a technical person so I wouldn't have missed that, but I did double check.

gTen, is there one you can recommend, or have you not used any of them?

Re: Google Talk application

Every epic has the google talk app regardless of stock rom or custom rom unless you deleted. even technical persons can look right next to it and still miss ot or can make the mistake of accidentally deleting. Just look again
