When you plug the device in, open up device manager..if you see any device that the drivers are having issues loading for, click on it and load the driver manually..it should be in the 16_shrewberry folder...also you can check if your 32bit or 64bit by going to System in control panel

How do you use these files?
"But instead of using SPH-D700-DG27-8Gb-REL.tar, use this instead:
*OFFICIAL* SPH-D700-DK28-8Gb-REL.tar.md5"

How do you use them?

Just spent a few hours trying to figure this out and got no where. Thanks

David
There is a program called Odin, thats what you use and load up those files with them

Re: Flashing Epic 4G EXT4 and CWM 3.x ROMs for Dummies

gTen,

Thanks. i checked the device manager and the only device I find having a problem is my phone. The folder you mention isn't there.

Also does Odlin load the files from the computer or does it have to be on the SD- the computer right?

Thanks!

David

When you plug it in with USB debugging enabled, 4 drivers load up...if one fails to load you cna manually install it from the 16_shrewberry folder..this folder is found in the driver you downloaded...

Odin = via usb and requires computer

Clockworkmod(CWM) = via SD card
