Using droid explorer with the Epic 4G

I'm really missing the MyMobiler and I've been trying to find something that mimics it. Anyone get the key/mouse input on the Epic 4G working with android screencasting? I start it up and can see the screen, but am unable to get the screen to take any input.

Also, when I click on anything in droid explorer, like to open any files, i get a no access error.

Also, also, I never get desktop sms to do anything at all. That is the thing I want more than anything. I loved the Efficasoft app that set txts in an email like fashion. anyone have any tips to get this working on the epic 4g?
