epic issues

so my phone is doing annoying things ever since i got dk28, the battery is horrible now, which has been brought up in other posts, but every time it dies i have to re add all my widgets to my screen. doesn't take to long just real annoying. also when i leave my keyboard out while i'm texting and the screen goes of the keyboard turns off and on every few different seconds. at first i that it was notifying me of a text but nothing. also it seems to lag a lot more then before i updated, for instance it took awhile for it to load my apps for me. im just seeing if anyone has these problems and how to fix it, my phone is not rooted. i really dont know how, i know its simple but i dont really want to figure it out. running stock use to be fine but now it just sucking and is reminding of my past when i had my hero. i know i can uninstall stuff to see if it runs better but it defeats the purpose and i dont have a lot anyways.
