I'm showing that they do mix..lol (since HTC doesn't make their own components)

But I doubt there would be much issue porting sense for those that want it..

Good Point. The fact that Evo had to use Samsung and Qualcomms chip set to make their phones...

Not that this pertains to the Epic per say, but I do have my doubts that between Samsung and Sprint neither one of them can agree upon and release a stable upgrade at this time for the majority of their phones to Froyo via OTA distribution form...

I wonder if these people are modding/rooting their phones and that's why the software upgrade is failing??

I guess well see what happens on Monday the 26th...

Maybe by some miracle I'll have a new phone by New Years Eve...
