Power button Configuration

My power button does not cycle the phone off and lock it any more.
I don't know what i did but this is super ubber annoying.
The power button does work because it brings up a menu if i hold it.

Is the lock screen customizable?

Re: Power button Configuration

Anyone? I just had to reset my device for it to work so I lost all my information. I got cranky. Is there a setting anywhere?

How do i change the lock screen and how to i set the power button?

No i didn't back up . I was so frustrated that i did a hard reset without thinking. It was a combination of following sprint's advise for swapping phone numbers but instead all they did was swap my phones....arg!!!

At least all my contacts are saved in gmail and work's exchange server.

Well, what do you want to change the lock screen to? or do you want to get rid of it altogether?

Also, can you be a bit more specific by set power button..you want to remap it?

I actually do not want to change it but for some reason my power button would not lock the screen on a single press. The physical button does work because i can turn my phone off and on with it and the long press does bring up the menu option.
This begs the question, did my button un map itself?
