Re: Not a fan of slide out keypads
One of the main reasons I got the Epic was for the keyboard (was coming from a TP2.) And I still use it a ton. But I'm finding myself shocked at how much I'm loving Swype. You still have to deal with the common theme you have with all software keyboards (i.e., having to doublecheck what was actually typed) but it's amazingly accurate and easy to pick up on.
I thought I also read something about another Samsung Galaxy device coming to Sprint (keyboardless) but that could've just been early speculation on what ended up being the Transform. |

Re: Not a fan of slide out keypads
You guys must not use your phones for work emails.
For text, web or any type of multimedia it is onscreen swype. For long emails that need to be written right, keyboard!! So far i am loving this epic. |

Wirelessly posted (Samsung Epic : Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.1-update1; en-us; SPH-D700 Build/ECLAIR) AppleWebKit/530.17 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/530.17)
I use swype more then I thought I would because of the hardware keyboard issue that has effected all 5 of my epics. but its not every app that is effected which is why I'm hoping for a fix.
