Re: Help with appointments
I was playing around with Ringdroid yesterday and discovered that not only can you create custom ringtones, you can also save them as Ringtone, Notification, Alarm or Music. Ringdroid will save it in the appropriate folder. Now go into the main settings menu>Sound & Display>Notification Ringtone and select your new custom ringtone as the default for notifications. This will cover text messages, emails, and the alarm on the stock Android calendar.
Ringdroid can be downloaded from the Market and its free. Its also very easy to use. |

Re: Help with appointments
Zedge will work also. I havent had time to play with notification sounds, but I am pretty sure you could change them without a app... but I could be wrong.

Re: Help with appointments
Yeah you can change them with any audio program, and then put them in the appropriate folder on your sd card. The problem is there is no setting for your appointment ringtone, as there is for emails and texts

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.80 (Android; Opera Mini/5.1.21126/20.2485; U; en) Presto/2.5.25)
Whatever you select as the default Notification ringtone will be what you hear for texts, reminders, emails and appointments. |
