Just updated myself..Root lasted through the update, Clockwork had to be reinstalled though

Okay so I renamed it to update.zip and transferred it to my sd card. Now what do I do?

Try putting your phone into debugging mode. I just updated mine. But then again I flashed back to stock too. Might try debugging first before you go back to stock.

Not sure. Im doing the update.zip and then pressing volume down, camera, and powering up. I got it to work tho.

I tried to push through recovery. After some wailing and gnashing of teeth I got clockwork mod installed and *think* I got the update going.
